How a Titan in the Industry Helped to Win HGTV’s Rock TheBlock

When I think about our victory on Season 2 of HGTV’s Rock the Block, I’m quickly reminded of the elements that Mika and I added to our home that made it stand out…not just for uniqueness, but also versatility.  With every home we build, Mika and I put a huge focus on things that will not only win over the homeowner, but also make the home super functional, while adding value in so many little ways. Our winning home on Rock the Block was no exception.  From the motorized pergola to the bowling alley, we added a lot of “wow” factor and I’m sure that’s what put us over the top with the judges. And while I was super psyched about the “secret” pantry in the kitchen, hidden behind fake cabinet doors, my favorite element had to be the glass garage door we put in the exercise room that allowed you to open up a wall while working out, bringing in the fresh air and open view.  A ride on the stationary bike facing the wooded backyard felt like anything but stationary thanks to this adaptable opening. Manufactured by ArmRLite Overhead Doors of Piscataway, NJ, and installed by our nearby friends at Metro Garage Doors of Douglasville, GA, the Titan™ Model overhead door and matching entranceway door was just what the space needed to turn a relatively typical workout space into a show-stopper.  Beautiful, large panes of glass, accented by the clearanodized rails and stiles, helped to bring the outdoors inside, and the 20-year welded warranty brings peace of mind to the homeowner.  Providing comfort on those colder days, and security, the structure was solid, and so was the service we got from both ArmRLite and Metro.  Can’t wait to work on another project with both of these companies.
